Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician with a valid state inspection license and a clean driver's license. Diesel engine experience is highly preferred. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of working on a wide range of vehicles, from light-duty cars to medium-duty trucks.
Responsibilities:
Perform vehicle inspections in accordance with state regulations Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues Service and repair gasoline and diesel engines Conduct routine maintenance (brakes, suspension, oil changes, etc.) Maintain accurate repair records and communicate with service advisors Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently
Qualifications:
Valid State Inspection License (required) Valid Driver's License (clean record preferred) Valid Emission License (a plus) Proven experience as an automotive technician/mechanic Diesel engine experience strongly preferred Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
