We're looking for a dependable Automotive & Equipment Transport Technician who is ready for a hands-on, fast‑paced career. This job is more than just driving—it's a lifestyle, similar to working with a fire department. We serve the community day and night, and we need someone who is proud to do the same. If you already have a CDL‑A (or are working toward one), enjoy problem‑solving, and don't mind being on call when others need help, this could be a great fit.
What You'll Do:
- Tow and transport vehicles and equipment safely and professionally
- Respond to calls during the day, after hours, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Secure, load, and unload vehicles and equipment while following all safety rules
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers to get the job done right
- Inspect your truck before and after trips to make sure it's safe and ready
- Complete required paperwork and keep accurate records
- Perform basic truck maintenance and help keep equipment in good condition
- Represent Patriot Towing with professionalism and strong customer service
Pay, Bonuses, and Growth:
- Weekly base pay plus commission for after-hours work (Yearly pay range 43K-75K + plus commission)
- Bonuses are strongly tied to availability for on-call work and willingness to take on larger, more complex jobs
- Merit-based pay increases based on your value to the company, customers, and community
- Health benefits and paid time off
What We're Looking For:
- CDL-A license preferred (permit accepted if actively pursuing CDL-A)
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working independently without constant supervision
- Ability to make smart decisions in stressful or emergency situations
- Willing to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
- Physically able to lift heavy items and work outdoors in all weather
Pay:
$960.00- $1,700.
