Description Jim Shorkey Kia in Irwin, Pa has expanded their service department and we are looking to hire a few quick lane technicians. This in our new 12 Bay Kia facility with air conditioning and heat!

Paid Company Uniforms Work Life Balance/No Sundays What You Will Be Doing? Perform regular maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements, to prevent problems before they occur. Inspect engines for leaks. Top off other fluids in the transmission or braking system. Perform tire pressure checks and rotations and inflate as needed. Install new batteries, wiper blades and air filters. Diagnose issues and recommend repair work to mechanics. Replaces oil, air, cabin, and fuel filters. Drain engine oil and add new oil to a car's engine. Use specialized tools and equipment and tools, such as scanners, multimeters, and hydraulic lifts, to diagnose problems and make repairs. Keep detailed records of all repairs and maintenance services performed on vehicles. Document all work performed on the repair order Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.. Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts Keep shop area neat and clean. Requirements Must be 18 years old and hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening Must be able to pass a background check with no criminal record. Team oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.)
