Job Description

Overview 1939 Auto is a fast-growing independent repair shop in Philadelphia built on quality work, honest service, and a strong team environment. We work on all makes and models and take pride in doing the job right while treating both our customers and employees with respect. We are looking for motivated individuals who want to be part of a professional, fast-paced shop that values hard work, reliability, and teamwork. Our shop is fully heated and air conditioned, offers competitive pay, steady workflow, modern equipment, and a Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends. Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles accurately and efficiently Perform inspections and recommend needed repairs and maintenance Communicate clearly with management regarding vehicle needs and repair status Complete work orders and document repairs properly Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow safety procedures and shop policies at all times Work as part of a team to keep workflow moving efficiently Deliver high-quality workmanship and professional customer service Stay up to date with modern automotive systems and repair procedures Help maintain a positive and productive shop environment Requirements Previous automotive repair experience preferred Valid driver's license required Own tools required Ability to diagnose and repair vehicles independently Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to stay organized and manage time efficiently ASE certifications are a plus but not required Pennsylvania state inspection and emissions licenses preferred Experience with diagnostic equipment and modern vehicle systems preferred Must take pride in producing quality work and treating customers' vehicles with care
Pay:
$40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
