Summary As a Service Writer at Meineke Car Care, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by effectively communicating service needs and managing repair orders. This position is essential for maintaining the flow of operations and enhancing the overall customer experience. Responsibilities Act as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and service needs. Prepare and manage repair orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Communicate effectively with technicians to relay customer concerns and service requirements. Provide estimates for repairs and services, explaining options to customers clearly. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized service area. Requirements Proven experience in automotive repair or related field is required.. Some mechanical knowledge to understand vehicle issues and communicate them effectively. Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members. Basic cash handling experience is beneficial. Sales experience is a plus but not required.
