Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic to join our team. In this vital role, you will oversee the maintenance, repair, and diagnostics of heavy-duty trucks and industrial equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help keep our fleet running smoothly and efficiently, supporting our commitment to excellent service. Responsibilities Lead the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of heavy-duty trucks, including diesel engines, , brakes, suspensions, hydraulics, and air brake systems Supervise and mentor junior mechanics, providing technical guidance and support Perform fabrication tasks such as welding, soldering, and assembly of custom parts or equipment modifications Use schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues on heavy equipment like excavators, cranes, forklifts, farm machinery, and industrial equipment Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and perform preventive maintenance routines Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and parts inventory logs Assist with heavy lifting tasks using appropriate power tools and equipment Skills Extensive experience with heavy-duty trucks. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, shocks & struts, HVAC systems, and suspension components Skilled in fabrication techniques including welding, soldering, and assembly using hand tools and power tools Ability to read schematics accurately for electrical or hydraulic systems Physical ability for heavy lifting and working in diverse environments; comfort working with farm machinery or industrial equipment Join us as a Lead Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic to bring your expertise into a dynamic environment where your skills directly impact operational success.
