Mostly Ford pickups and landscape trucks, International dump trucks and Mack tri-axle trucks. Currently looking for a Master Truck and Car mechanic to schedule the repairs and diagnose issues to keep the shop moving smoothly. - Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Master Automotive Mechanic to join our team. Expert diagnosis skills and ability to explain issues to other mechanics. Responsibilities Communicate with the office and other mechanics Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, tire service, and brake repair. Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions. Determine the best way to troubleshoot and fix complex automotive issues. Welding and fabricating a plus. Utilize power tools and welding equipment safely and effectively for repairs. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used. Communicate with customers regarding vehicle status, repairs needed, and estimated timelines. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow in the shop environment. Skills Proficient in automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting techniques. Such as Snap-on Diagnosis, Ford ids Programs and other computer software. Strong knowledge of tire service, brake repair, alignment, and suspension systems. Experience using power tools and welding equipment in automotive applications. Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Excellent communication skills for effective customer interaction.
