Automotive Glass Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Automotive Glass Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in auto glass installation and repair, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. This role involves working on various vehicles, ensuring that all glass components are installed correctly and safely. The Automotive Glass Technician will work closely with customers and other automotive professionals to provide exceptional service. Responsibilities Perform installation and repair of automotive glass, including windshields, side windows, and rear windows. Assess damage to auto glass and determine the appropriate repair or replacement procedures. Use hand tools and specialized equipment to remove and install glass components. Ensure all installations meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to assemble parts and complete vehicle maintenance tasks as needed. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs. Qualifications Proven experience in auto glass installation or related fields such as automotive repair or auto body repair. Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform precise work under pressure. Familiarity with vehicle maintenance practices and heavy lifting techniques. Proficient in using hand tools and equipment relevant to glass installation. Previous experience working in a dealership or automotive shop is preferred but not required. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills. Must be able to lift heavy materials safely and perform physical tasks associated with the role.
