Pinnacle Auto Service is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. We are a family-owned and operated automotive repair business serving the Pittsburgh area for over 60 years , and we're looking for someone who takes pride in providing excellent customer service and keeping a busy repair shop organized and running smoothly. Responsibilities include:

Greeting customers professionally in person and over the phone Checking vehicles in and accurately documenting customer concerns Communicating customer concerns and service needs to technicians Reviewing digital vehicle inspections and technician recommendations Building accurate repair and maintenance estimates Presenting and selling recommended repairs and services to customers Maintaining communication with customers throughout the repair process Ordering parts and coordinating parts availability Managing and prioritizing workflow among technicians Keeping customers informed of vehicle status and expected completion times Maintaining accurate repair order documentation Ensuring customers receive a professional, straightforward service experience from check-in through vehicle delivery Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who is professional, organized, personable, and comfortable handling multiple responsibilities throughout the workday.

Preferred qualifications include:

Minimum 2 years of automotive service advisor experience Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance Exceptional customer service and communication skills Detail-oriented and highly organized Ability to build and present estimates confidently and professionally Ability to prioritize work and manage technician workflow Comfortable using computers and digital shop management systems (Experience with Tekmetric management system is ideal) Strong problem-solving and time-management skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team We are looking for an advisor who understands that successful automotive service isn't about pressuring customers—it's about communicating clearly, building trust, and helping customers make informed decisions about their vehicles. Compensation Pay is based on experience and qualifications, with built-in performance bonuses. Specific compensation will be discussed during the interview process.
