We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Auto Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will perform comprehensive vehicle repairs and maintenance with precision and efficiency, ensuring our customers' vehicles operate at peak performance. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service, troubleshoot complex issues, and uphold the highest standards of automotive care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of vehicle makes and models, including GM vehicles and diesel engines, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills to keep our customers safely on the road. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues using advanced diagnostics tools and schematics, including electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools effectively to complete repairs efficiently. Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic trouble codes to accurately identify problems and implement effective solutions. Conduct complex repairs on powertrain systems, transmissions, diesel engines, and automotive electrical systems while adhering to safety standards. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service jobs while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Assist in auto estimating processes by accurately assessing repair needs and parts requirements for warranty or insurance claims. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use. Experience Proven dealership experience as an auto technician or service technician with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repairs. Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, ADAS technology, schematics interpretation, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Hands-on experience working with GM vehicles or similar brands is highly desirable. Skilled in diagnosing issues related to powertrain components, transmissions, diesel engines, and automotive electrical systems. Familiarity with wheel alignment equipment, auto estimating software, welding techniques, and the use of hand tools and power tools required for complex repairs. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong mechanical aptitude combined with excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for every client.
