Quick Lube Technician

Responsibilities Conduct quick and thorough oil changes using appropriate lubricants and filters, adhering to manufacturer specifications. Perform basic vehicle inspections including tire condition, fluid levels, and brake checks to identify potential issues early. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete maintenance tasks efficiently. Assist with additional services such as basic vehicle diagnostics when needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use. Communicate clearly with customers about the services performed and recommend additional maintenance or repairs if necessary. Follow safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Skills Proven dealership or automotive repair experience with a focus on quick service environments. Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, including oil change procedures, and basic diagnostics. Familiarity with automotive service tools such as hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Prior experience with automotive diagnostics and general mechanic work is highly desirable. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance best practices combined with a proactive attitude towards safety and quality standards.
