Company Overview Rothmiller Roadside Assistance is a new customer-focused mobile service company dedicated to helping drivers get back on the road quickly and safely. We specialize in providing reliable roadside support, including services such as tire changes, jump starts, lockout assistance, fuel delivery, and basic troubleshooting. Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Roadside Assistance Technician/Tow Driver to join our team. In this vital role, you will deliver prompt roadside support and towing services to our customers, ensuring their safety and satisfaction. Your mechanical expertise and driving skills will help keep our clients moving forward, even in challenging situations. Duties Respond quickly to roadside assistance calls, providing support such as jump-starts, tire changes, fuel delivery, and lockout services Operate tow trucks safely and efficiently to transport vehicles from breakdown sites to repair facilities or designated locations Conduct basic automotive diagnostics and mechanical assessments to identify issues accurately Load and unload vehicles using flatbed or tow truck equipment while ensuring safety protocols are followed Maintain detailed logs of service calls, vehicle conditions, and work performed for record-keeping purposes Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly, managing conflicts professionally, and ensuring a positive experience for clients Assist with automotive repairs or mechanical troubleshooting when necessary, utilizing your mechanic experience Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving license (CDL) preferred but not mandatory Proven experience with automotive diagnostics, mechanical repairs, and automotive repair tools Knowledge of manual transmissions and familiarity with flatbed tow trucks and tow truck operations Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including engines, brakes, electrical components, and suspension Ability to load & unload vehicles safely using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or other lifting devices when needed Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage conflicts calmly and professionally Experience operating forklifts or similar machinery is a plus Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform manual tasks throughout shifts Join us in delivering reliable roadside assistance while building your career in a fast-paced environment!
