Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in vehicle maintenance and repair. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that vehicles are safe and reliable for our customers. Your expertise in automotive diagnostics and customer service will play a vital role in maintaining our reputation for quality service.
Duties:
Perform diagnostics using specialized tools and equipment Complete routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, and tune-ups Identify necessary parts for repairs and coordinate parts ordering Repair or replace malfunctioning parts such as brakes, belts, water pumps, and transmissions Conduct thorough system checks and test drives post-repair to confirm functionality and safety Perform Pennsylvania (or applicable state) vehicle inspections and emissions tests Maintain detailed service records and documentation Follow all state, federal, and company safety regulations Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required Formal automotive technical training or completion of an apprenticeship program preferred Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic Valid Pennsylvania (or applicable state) Driver's License required Pennsylvania State Inspection Mechanic License and Emissions License required Experience with diagnostic equipment, computerized systems, and fleet maintenance preferred Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities necessary for vehicle inspections and repairs If you are passionate about automobiles and have the skills necessary to excel as an Automotive Technician, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity!
