Mechanic

Company Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on company vehicles (pickup trucks, trailers, light-duty fleet)
• Diagnose and repair equipment including: Compact excavators Skid steers/ track loaders Wheel loaders Lawn mowers Small engines and jobsite equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel/gas engine inssues
• Handle preventative maintenance (oil changes, filters, greasing, inspections)
• Perform basic welding and fabrication as needed
• Maintain service records and tracker maintenance schedules in UpKeep
• Coordinate with management on major repairs or outsourced work
• Ensure all equipment is safe and job-ready daily

Qualifications:

• 3+ years mechanical experience (automotive or diesel and equipment)
• Ability to work on a mix of trucks and equipment
• Valid Driver's License required
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems and engines
• Demonstrate ability to work independently, multi-task and apply initiative
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Computer proficient and experience with a maintenance management system (i.

e. UpKeep)

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

• Must be able to move, sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50lbs with regularity and up to 100lbs on occasion.
• Requires working outdoors in various weather conditions and being regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, hot/cold and while moving equipment Benefits include :

Pay:

$22.00 - $27.00 per hour
