In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Your mechanical skills and passion for automotive service will be essential in delivering top-quality repairs, from basic maintenance to complex diagnostics. Whether working on gasoline engines, transmissions, or electrical systems, you'll play a vital role in keeping vehicles in peak condition and customers on the road with confidence. Duties Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including powertrains, transmissions, electrical systems, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems effectively. Repair or replace components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, steering systems, and suspension parts with precision. Use hand tools and power tools safely to complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high quality standards. Conduct wheel alignments and perform vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met. Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair findings clearly to customers or service advisors. Skills Proven dealership or service center experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician. Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, diesel engine repair, and powertrain components. Proficiency in reading schematics and understanding automotive diagnostics software. Mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures including oil changes, brake repairs, and engine tune-ups. Must have valid drivers license and State and Emission license preferred.
Pay:
$20.00 - $50.00 per hour
