Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking a Truck Service / Preventive Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. This position performs routine preventive maintenance and light mechanical service on commercial and heavy-duty trucks while assisting our lead technicians with additional service and repair work. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, safety-minded, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance (PM) services on commercial and heavy-duty vehicles. Change engine oil, fuel, air, and oil filters. Lubricate chassis and other components. Inspect and service tires; check and adjust tire pressure. Inspect and adjust brakes. Perform basic wiring and lighting repairs . Inspect vehicles and identify additional maintenance or repair needs. Assist lead technicians with repairs and service when PM work is completed. Safely use hand tools, air tools, tire tools, and other shop equipment. Maintain accurate service and repair records. Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean and properly maintained. Follow all company safety procedures and applicable federal and state regulations. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Basic automotive or heavy-duty mechanical knowledge. Previous truck, fleet, tire, or preventive maintenance experience preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team. Valid driver's license required. CDL Class A or B is a plus, but not required. State Inspection License is a plus. Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
