Platinum Roadside LLC is hiring a Full-Time Emergency Roadside Technician for the York, PA area. Candidates must live in or near York City to be considered. The technician will cover York City, Dover, Red Lion, Etters, Wrightsville, Springettsbury, and surrounding areas. As a Roadside Technician, you will respond to stranded drivers and provide fast, professional assistance, including tire changes, jump-starts, vehicle lockouts, and mobile battery installations. This position will have a strong focus on mobile battery replacement, along with traditional roadside-assistance services. Required Equipment You must have your own roadside-service equipment, including: Minimum 2.5-ton jack Impact wrench Proper sockets and hand tools Jumper box or jump-start pack Professional lockout kit Other basic roadside-service equipment Applicants who do not have the required equipment will not be considered. You must also have your own reliable vehicle to perform service calls. Responsibilities Diagnose and resolve common roadside issues quickly and safely Perform tire changes and basic battery services Provide vehicle jump-starts and on-site battery replacements Assist with vehicle lockouts using proper tools and techniques Communicate clearly and consistently with customers and dispatch Maintain accurate service-call notes, photos, and documentation Provide professional, courteous, and timely customer service Respond promptly to assigned calls and meet required ETAs Requirements Must reside in or near Northwest Baltimore Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Reliable vehicle and required roadside-service equipment Dependable, punctual, and able to communicate consistently Basic automotive knowledge or previous roadside-service experience Able to lift moderate weight and work outdoors in various weather conditions Available for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Comfortable using a smartphone and mobile dispatch applications Preferred Qualifications Previous roadside-assistance or automotive-repair experience Mobile battery testing or installation experience Strong customer-service background Benefits Paid training provided Auto-parts discount Opportunities for continued work and advancement Opportunity to earn additional income through mobile battery installations If you are reliable, hardworking, responsive, and enjoy helping others, apply today to join Platinum Roadside Assistance.
