Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Automotive Mechanic, where your expertise will drive excellence in vehicle repair and maintenance across a variety of automotive brands and models. This energetic role offers the opportunity to work on-site at customer locations, delivering top-tier service with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. As a key player in our mobile service fleet, you'll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain vehicles efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. Your mechanical skills and automotive knowledge will help keep vehicles running smoothly and safely on the road. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, powertrains, suspensions, and steering systems to restore optimal vehicle performance. Execute routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacement, brake repairs, and vehicle inspections. Repair and replace auto body components when necessary, ensuring vehicles meet safety and quality standards. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete repairs efficiently in various environments. Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair guides to ensure precise repairs aligned with manufacturer specifications. Maintain detailed records of all services performed for each vehicle, including auto estimating documentation when applicable. Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair. Extensive knowledge of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), auto electrical systems, and automotive electrical troubleshooting. Skilled in repairing air brake systems and working with heavy-duty vehicles when required. Proficient in reading schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams for complex vehicle systems. Experience repairing diesel engines, transmissions, powertrains, and performing engine overhauls. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto body repair techniques. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus; excellent customer service skills are essential for engaging with clients professionally.
