Grenz Automotive is looking for a motivated, dependable, and hardworking individual to join our growing team as an Entry-Level Automotive & Handyman Technician. This position is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands and wants to build practical skills in both automotive repair and general handyman services. Previous professional experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic, takes pride in their work, and is eager to learn. What You'll Do Automotive Services Perform basic vehicle maintenance and repairs Oil and filter changes Brake inspections and brake repairs Battery and starter/alternator replacement Basic suspension and steering repairs Basic diagnostic work Tire-related services Vehicle inspections and maintenance checks Assist experienced technicians with more advanced repairs Properly use and maintain automotive tools and equipment Keep work areas, vehicles, and equipment clean and organized Handyman & Home Services Basic home repairs and maintenance Furniture and product assembly Installation of shelves, fixtures, hardware, and other household items Basic drywall repair and patching Basic painting and touch-up work Basic plumbing repairs and replacements Basic electrical-related tasks when appropriate and within your skill level General property maintenance Assist with larger home-service and contracting projects Safely use common hand and power tools

Skills & Qualifications Required:

The ideal candidate is someone who can look at a problem, think through possible solutions, ask questions when needed, and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty. You should be comfortable learning new skills and taking on different types of work from day to day. Because this is a hybrid position, no two days may be exactly the same. You may be changing brakes on a vehicle one day and assembling furniture or completing a home repair the next.
