as a Mechanic in Charlestown, RI, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining our fleet and equipment. We are looking for a dedicated professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about delivering quality service.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and heavy equipment. Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot problems effectively. Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiencies. Assist in the procurement of parts and supplies as needed. Keep work area organized and clean. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in mechanical technology.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably in landscape construction. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and diagnostic tools. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude. Willingness to work flexible hours as needed. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications are a plus.
