Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicle systems to ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our customers by performing high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse vehicle makes and models, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and technical skills to keep vehicles running smoothly. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on engines, transmissions, powertrains, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, steering components, and other critical systems. Complete routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to uphold safety standards. Repair or replace auto body components as needed, including welding and other auto body repair techniques. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and maintenance tasks while adhering to safety protocols. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems Ensure all work meets dealership or automotive service standards Skills Proven experience as an automotive mechanic. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, diesel engine repair, and powertrain components. Familiarity with ADAS, air brake systems, and auto estimating software is advantageous. Proficiency in working with schematics for troubleshooting electrical or mechanical issues. Mechanical knowledge of transmissions, oil change procedures, alignment services, suspension systems, tire service, shocks & struts. Ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and maintenance machinery safely. $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
