Job Description
Under general supervision, Performs repair and maintenance service for agency's vehicle and equipment fleet. Inspects diesel powered vehicles and equipment to assess the repair and maintenance needed. Supervises inmate worker and provides hands-on training in the automotive repair field. Performs after hour vehicle recovery services on an on-call basis. Assists in maintaining tool, material, equipment and supply inventories at vehicle maintenance facility. Must successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.
