Job Description:
Our fleet maintenance department performs preventative maintenance and repairs on primarily Concrete Mixers, as well as Road Tractors, Dump Trucks, Cement Tankers, Dump Trailers, and Front-End Loaders. There is a PM schedule that we adhere to, to keep our equipment running safely and effectively. The primary duties of the ideal candidate would be keeping up with preventative maintenance including but not limited to: Changing of engine oil and filters as well as fuel, coolant, transmission, and hydraulic filters. Checking Engine oil, hydraulic fluid, transmission fluid, & coolant for quality and quantity, and topping off or replacing fluids to meet standards. Adjusting/replacing drum brakes and brake components, Replacing disc brake pads, calipers, or rotors. Repairing or replacing rubbed, chaffed, or blown hydraulic lines. Checking suspension and steering components for wear and adjusting or replacing as needed. Diagnosis of engine problems and systems (primarily Cummins). Diagnosis and repair of transmissions (primarily Allison). Diagnosis and repair of aftertreatment systems. Diagnosis and repair of 24v, 12v, and 5v electrical systems. Repairing or replacing anything found defective during service to ensure our equipment runs safely and within DOT regulations. Ideal candidate will have 2yr minimum experience with:
  • Diesel engines: diagnosis and repair of issues
  • Allison transmissions: diagnosis and repair of issues
  • Aftertreatment systems
  • Electrical systems: 24v, 12v, & 5v (confident with schematics)
  • Air brake systems
  • Hydraulic systems
  • Steering and suspension components
