Part-Time / On-Call Automotive Locksmith — 1099 Speedy On-Time Locksmith Speedy On-Time Locksmith is looking for a reliable, experienced automotive locksmith to take jobs throughout the Greenville, Spartanburg, and Anderson areas as calls come in. This is a flexible 1099 independent contractor position . There is no fixed schedule or guaranteed number of hours. Jobs are offered individually, and you choose which jobs you accept based on your availability. What We're Looking For You don't need a specific number of years in the industry, but you must know what you're doing and be capable of completing automotive key jobs independently.

Primary work includes:

Automotive key cutting and programming All-keys-lost and add-a-key jobs Transponder keys Smart/proximity keys Automotive key and immobilizer troubleshooting Service Area Applicants may be based anywhere around Greenville, Spartanburg, or Anderson, South Carolina , but must be willing and able to travel throughout our service area as needed.

Jobs may be dispatched throughout:

Greenville County and surrounding areas Spartanburg County and surrounding areas Anderson County and surrounding areas You choose which individual jobs you accept, but we're looking for someone who is generally willing to service all three areas , not just one city. Requirements Hands-on automotive key cutting and programming experience Able to independently diagnose and complete automotive key jobs Must have your own key programmer and key-cutting equipment Must have your own reliable vehicle Reliable communication and ability to answer/respond when jobs are offered Ability to show up and complete accepted jobs professionally Valid driver's license Professional with customers Must pass a background check This is not an entry-level training position. You don't need to know every vehicle or key system, but you must already be comfortable handling automotive key jobs independently. Compensation 1099 commission-based contractor position. Percentage paid per completed job Up to 50-60% commission , depending on the job and what you provide Technicians who provide their own equipment and applicable keys/remotes/parts are eligible for the highest percentage No fixed schedule No guaranteed hours Accept jobs based on your availability Uncapped earning potential based on jobs completed How It Works When a job comes in, we'll contact you with the job information.
