Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and a passion for automotive repair. As a General Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles to ensure they operate at peak performance. This role requires physical stamina for heavy lifting and the ability to work with various hand tools. Duties Perform oil changes, tire service, including installation, rotation, and alignment of tires. Conduct routine maintenance checks on vehicles, ensuring all systems are functioning properly. Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools and power tools. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle's needs. Experience Previous experience as a General Service Technician or in a similar mechanic role is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair. Familiarity with dealership operations is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for various tasks. Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment effectively.
