Job Description
The Trailer Technician is responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on class 8 equipment. Responsibilities Perform repairs on class 8 equipment within employee current skill level. Inspect equipment during the repair process to determine if additional repairs are necessary. Employee may perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of Covenant Transport Services. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Must have a valid driver's license. Must be able to understand, communicate, read, and write the English language. Must have the physical ability to lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis and 95 lbs. on a frequent basis. Must have physical ability to climb, bend and stoop. Must have physical ability to always work while on feet. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to pass a DOT physical Education/Experience Currently attending or recent graduate of a High School automotive or diesel program Currently attending or recent graduate of an accredited Diesel Equipment Technology program Competitive Compensation We believe in rewarding excellence.
