Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as an Express Lube Technician and become a vital part of delivering quick, reliable vehicle maintenance services! In this energetic role, you will perform essential oil changes, tire services, brake replacements, belt replacements, bulb replacements, and basic vehicle inspections with precision and efficiency. Your mechanical aptitude and customer service skills will help ensure every customer leaves satisfied and confident in their vehicle's performance. This position offers a fast-paced environment where your expertise in automotive repair and maintenance makes a real difference every day. Duties Conduct quick oil changes, including filter replacements, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications. Perform tire rotations, tire replacements, balancing, and basic alignment checks to optimize vehicle safety and performance. Replace brake pads, brake rotors, and other basic brake components as needed. Replace worn or damaged belts, including serpentine and accessory belts, following manufacturer guidelines. Replace exterior and interior vehicle bulbs, including headlights, taillights, brake lights, and turn signals. Inspect vehicles for fluid levels, brake conditions, tire wear, belt condition, bulb operation, and other routine maintenance needs. Use hand tools and power tools to complete maintenance and repair tasks efficiently and safely. Assist customers by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance or repairs when appropriate. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Support the service team with vehicle diagnostics and minor repairs as needed. Qualifications Previous dealership or automotive repair experience preferred, especially in fast-service environments. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics, oil change procedures, tire service, brake replacement, belt replacement, bulb replacement, and basic alignments. Proven ability to lift heavy objects safely during maintenance tasks. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude. Service technician experience is highly valued; automotive service certifications are a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures, brake systems, tire service, belt replacement, lighting systems, and mechanical systems.
