Responsibilities Conduct thorough diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently. Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical wiring, suspension, and brakes. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical problems effectively. Repair or replace powertrain components, vehicle suspension systems, and transmission systems to restore optimal vehicle performance. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical devices to complete repairs with precision. Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications and safety standards while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Assist with vehicle alignment procedures and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration to ensure modern vehicle safety features function correctly. Maintain detailed service records and accurately document all repairs performed for transparency and future reference. Support vehicle maintenance routines for both gasoline and diesel engines, including diesel engine repair when necessary. Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and providing professional recommendations. Skills Proven dealership or automotive repair shop experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair techniques. Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, wiring diagrams, schematics, and electronic components. Hands-on experience with powertrain repairs, transmission system overhaul, and vehicle suspension system repair. Familiarity with ADAS technology calibration and the use of diagnostic scan tools for modern vehicles. Mechanical knowledge complemented by proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical devices. Ability to interpret automotive wiring diagrams accurately for electrical troubleshooting. Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures for both gasoline and diesel engines. Service technician experience with auto estimating software is a plus for efficient workflow management. Excellent customer service skills to communicate repair processes clearly and professionally. Technical proficiency in automotive electrical systems, transmissions, wheel alignment procedures, and overall automotive service standards.
