Full-Time Join Our Team at Lewis & Clark Ford! We're looking for an experienced and motivated Automotive Service Technician to join our service department. As a technician, you'll play a key role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining customer vehicles to ensure safety, performance, and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Perform a wide range of automotive repairs on both gas and diesel vehicles Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues using OEM diagnostic equipment Conduct routine maintenance: oil changes, fluid flushes, tire rotations, alignments, and brake services Repair or replace worn parts, including suspension components, exhaust systems, and drive trains Perform AC service, tune-ups, battery testing and replacement Conduct detailed vehicle inspections and identify safety or maintenance concerns Accurately document labor, parts used, and findings for each job in the repair order system Collaborate with service advisors to explain diagnostics and repairs to customers when needed Maintain up-to-date knowledge through factory training, webinars, and in-house workshops Uphold cleanliness, organization, and safety in the shop and work bay areas Assist other technicians when needed and foster a supportive team environment Demonstrate professionalism with every customer interaction

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience as an automotive technician preferred ASE Certification or willingness to obtain Experience with Ford vehicles a plus Valid driver's license and clean driving record Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision Excellent communication and teamwork skills
