As the primary connection between guests and the service department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that every repair, recommendation, and interaction reflects the Lexus brand's high standards. Confirm warranty and service contract coverage by reviewing records and clearly explaining all provisions and exclusions. Manage service appointment scheduling and gather customer and vehicle information in advance whenever possible. Work closely with service greeters to create a smooth and welcoming check‑in experience. Communicate customer concerns to technicians and coordinate test drives when needed. Prepare detailed repair orders that accurately capture symptoms, causes, and required services; secure approval signatures; and enter all information into the service database. Review service history and identify additional maintenance opportunities that support vehicle longevity. Educate customers on proper vehicle care and the long‑term value of following manufacturer recommendations. Assign repair orders to technicians strategically to maximize efficiency and service quality. Track repair progress throughout the day and proactively update customers regarding timing or cost changes, securing authorization for any additional work. Review completed repair orders for accuracy and completeness before closing them. Provide clear, confident explanations of completed work and associated charges. Maintain exceptional customer satisfaction standards and uphold the dealership's reputation for excellence. Coordinate work orders to support maximum productivity and a seamless customer experience. Maintain a polished, professional appearance. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum age of 19. High school diploma required; GED accepted. Basic mechanical understanding of automobiles. Strong customer relations skills and the ability to connect with customer inquiries. Effective verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail. Computer literacy required; Reynolds and Reynolds experience is a plus. Team‑oriented mindset with a strong commitment to both customers and colleagues. Friendly demeanor, high energy, and a willingness to exceed expectations. Ability to pass all pre‑employment screenings, including background check, MVR, drug test, credit report, and verification of a valid driver's license.
