Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately across various vehicle systems. Repair and maintain powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and drivetrain systems, ensuring optimal vehicle performance. Conduct vehicle suspension system repairs and alignments to enhance ride quality and handling. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems effectively. Service advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) to improve vehicle safety features. Utilize hand tools and power tools skillfully for repairs, replacements, welding, and maintenance tasks. Collaborate with team members to estimate repairs accurately and communicate findings clearly to customers. Requirements Dealership experience or equivalent service technician experience is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repair. Proficiency with automotive electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and schematics. Experience working on GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus. Ability to repair vehicle transmission systems, diesel engines, and perform vehicle maintenance tasks efficiently. Familiarity with automotive service procedures including wheel alignments and suspension system repairs. Demonstrated customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and professionalism. Technical proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools, power tools, and hand tools required for complex repairs.
