Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately across various vehicle systems. Repair and maintain engines, including diesel engines, ensuring optimal powertrain performance and engine longevity. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems effectively. Conduct vehicle inspections, alignments, and wheel balancing to uphold safety standards and vehicle handling quality. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and mechanical repair techniques to execute repairs efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Diagnose and repair automotive electrical systems, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), ensuring modern vehicle features function correctly. Assist in heavy lifting tasks and manual handling of vehicle components during maintenance procedures to ensure safety and precision. Qualifications Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance. Extensive knowledge of automotive engine systems, including powertrain components and engine technology. Skilled in interpreting automotive wiring diagrams, schematics, and electrical systems diagnostics. Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, alignment procedures, and vehicle systems troubleshooting. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus; however, comprehensive mechanic experience across various makes is highly valued. Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools and understanding of automotive electrical systems. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about repairs and maintenance needs. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, handle manual tasks efficiently, and maintain high standards of vehicle maintenance.
