Automotive Service Advisor

City Auto Memphis is hiring an attentive, detail-oriented, and customer service-driven person to support our Memphis, TN team as a full-time Automotive Parts Advisor . With base pay and commission , you have an earning potential of $45,000 - $52,000/year . WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT BECOMING OUR AUTOMOTIVE PARTS ADVISOR THE SCHEDULE

You'll work between the hours of 7:00 am to 6:00 pm with rotating Saturdays.

YOUR ROLE

Customer Service and Sales Support:

Assisting customers in person, online, and over the phone by helping them find the correct auto parts, making recommendations, providing pricing information, and upselling parts or services when able

Product Identification and Ordering:

Consulting catalogs, databases, and vehicle information to accurately identify parts, verify availability and compatibility for the customer, and order parts when needed

Inventory Management:

Monitoring inventory levels, conducting regular stock checks, and correctly receiving, labeling, and stocking auto parts

Service Team Support:

Coordinating with service advisors and technicians to promptly order the correct parts and inform them of any delays or backorders

Documentation:

Creating and maintaining accurate inventory and transaction records, invoices, purchase orders, returns, and warranties in our DMS or POS system

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge of auto parts and mechanical systems Basic computer skills Good communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license High school diploma or equivalent

BONUS QUALIFICATIONS

Experience working in a dealership, service shop, or retail parts store Experience using CDK, Reynolds and Reynolds, or OEM parts database software Customer service experience Familiarity with parts catalogs and inventory systems Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems Ability to speak Spanish and English JOIN US!
