Selected candidates will be responsible for maintaining trailering equipment for a Fortune 500 package delivery company in a clean well-maintained environment. Requirements:
Qualified Mechanic:
1-3 years as a trailer/chassis mechanic (or similar). Possess most required tools. Must Pass Background Check Responsibilities Include but not limited to: Perform FAI and State required inspections. Inspect and repair "S" cam air brake systems. Diagnose and repair anti-lock brake systems. Perform repairs to commercial trailers and converter dollies in all potential aspects. Perform the required paperwork and/or computer records accordingly. Qualifications are, but not limited to: Must be 18 years of age Must have basic computer skills Must have necessary tools to perform job functions Willing to work on becoming certified in DOT inspections, Air brake certifications, ASE certified.
MIG Welding preferred Trailer repair:
Minimum 1 years' experience Required Brakes (lining, chambers, slack adjusters, air lines, etc.) ABS
  • System troubleshooting and repair Side sheet repairs
  • patch Corner Radius Repairs Lighting
  • Troubleshooting and repairs Landing gear repairs Roll-up & swing door replacements/ repairs Roof repairs
