Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician / Lube Technician who is willing to learn and develop into a full Automotive Technician to join our team. As a trusted expert in the automotive industry, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, diagnosing concerns, and repairing a wide range of vehicles, including Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram models. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive service, a strong work ethic, and excellent customer service skills.
Duties:
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to diagnose issues and determine necessary repairs. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and brake pad replacements. Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to complete repairs and maintenance tasks. Troubleshoot and repair automotive systems. Interpret schematics and diagnose and repair electrical and electronic components. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety protocols. Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience for every customer. Stay up to date with the latest automotive industry developments, technology, and OEM training schedules. Participate in ongoing training and development to advance technical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as an automotive technician or lube technician preferred. Strong interest in developing diagnostic and advanced automotive repair skills. Knowledge of OEM vehicles and their specific systems and components. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Strong customer service skills and a commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience. Physical stamina and the ability to lift, move, and maneuver heavy objects. Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and schematics is preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Work Environment:
The work environment includes exposure to loud noises, fumes, and potentially hazardous materials. Technicians are required to wear appropriate protective equipment and follow all safety protocols to minimize risks. Work Schedule:
Flat-rate technician pay structure with clock-hour opportunities, as applicable. Ongoing OEM training and opportunities for advancement.
