Agape Carpet Cleaning | Spring Hill, TN Full-Time | $25/hour

+ Profit Sharing

+ Performance Upside | Company Truck Provided Agape Carpet Cleaning is looking for an experienced, motivated Carpet Cleaning Technician / General Manager to take a leadership role in our growing carpet and upholstery cleaning business serving Spring Hill, Franklin, Brentwood, Columbia, Thompson's Station, and surrounding Middle Tennessee communities . This is not a typical technician position. We are looking for someone who wants to take ownership of the day-to-day operation of a small, established service business and has the potential to grow with the company. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with professional carpet cleaning, understands stain and odor removal, takes pride in their work, and genuinely enjoys working with customers. You'll be given a company truck and the tools/equipment necessary to perform the job , along with significant autonomy and the opportunity to participate in the financial upside of the business. What You'll Do - Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Perform professional residential and commercial carpet cleaning Perform deep cleaning and hot-water extraction/steam cleaning Pre-treat carpets and identify appropriate cleaning solutions Perform stain and spot removal Treat pet stains and pet odors Clean heavily soiled and high-traffic areas Perform upholstery and furniture cleaning Clean area rugs and other textile surfaces as needed Learn and properly operate professional cleaning equipment, including rotary/Rotovac equipment Inspect carpets before beginning work and set realistic customer expectations Protect customers' furniture, flooring, walls, and belongings Perform final inspections with customers to ensure satisfaction Maintain a clean, professional appearance of the work vehicle and equipment Customer Service & Sales Arrive on time and communicate professionally with customers Explain the cleaning process and set expectations before beginning work Provide upfront, transparent pricing Identify additional cleaning needs when appropriate Recommend services based on the customer's actual needs — never high-pressure selling Handle customer questions and concerns professionally Ask satisfied customers for reviews and referrals Build relationships that lead to repeat business General Manager Responsibilities As you become established in the role, you'll take increasing responsibility for the overall operation of the business, including: Managing the daily schedule and routing Coordinating jobs and customer appointments Managing inventory of chemicals, supplies, and equipment Maintaining and servicing company vehicles and cleaning equipment Monitoring job quality and customer satisfaction Communicating with customers regarding scheduling and service Helping train and manage additional technicians as the company grows Tracking basic operating metrics and job profitability Identifying opportunities to increase average ticket and repeat business Helping develop commercial accounts and recurring customers Assisting with marketing and local business development Taking ownership of the company's reputation and customer experience What We're Looking For - Ideal Candidate 2+ years of professional carpet cleaning experience preferred Strong knowledge of carpet cleaning, stain removal, and pet odor treatment Experience with hot-water extraction/steam cleaning preferred Experience with upholstery and/or rug cleaning is a plus Familiarity with professional carpet-cleaning equipment Strong work ethic and attention to detail Professional appearance and excellent customer-service skills Comfortable working independently without constant supervision Reliable and punctual Strong communication skills Comfortable speaking with homeowners and explaining services Ability to diagnose cleaning challenges and determine the appropriate treatment Mechanically inclined and capable of maintaining equipment Clean driving record Valid driver's license Able to safely lift and carry hoses, equipment, furniture and supplies Comfortable working in customers' homes Willingness to work occasional evenings or Saturdays when customer demand requires it

Even Better If You Have:

IICRC certification Experience with Rotovac or rotary cleaning equipment Experience with oriental/area rug cleaning Experience with upholstery cleaning Experience with urine/pet odor treatment Experience with commercial carpet cleaning Previous experience managing a technician or small service business Sales or customer-service experience Experience using scheduling/CRM software Entrepreneurial mindset What We Offer $25/hour starting pay
