Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will perform comprehensive vehicle repairs and maintenance, ensuring optimal performance and safety for our customers. Your expertise will help diagnose issues accurately, utilize advanced automotive diagnostic tools, and deliver exceptional service that exceeds expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of vehicle makes and models, including GM vehicles, in a fast-paced, energetic environment dedicated to automotive excellence. Responsibilities Conduct thorough diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues across various vehicle systems. Perform repairs and maintenance on powertrain components, transmissions, vehicle suspension systems, electrical systems, and vehicle wiring diagrams interpretation. Repair and replace vehicle parts including engines (diesel engines included), transmissions, axles, shocks, struts, and suspension components. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive repair equipment efficiently to complete repairs accurately and safely. Interpret schematics and automotive wiring diagrams to troubleshoot complex electrical problems effectively. Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and quality standards while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating processes, and communicate clearly with customers about repair needs and timelines. Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive repair and service technician roles. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, including the use of advanced diagnostic tools for troubleshooting complex vehicle issues. Extensive mechanical knowledge covering powertrain systems, vehicle transmission system repair, diesel engine repair, and vehicle systems overall. Ability to interpret schematics and automotive wiring diagrams accurately for electrical system troubleshooting. Experience with ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) calibration and repair is highly desirable. Skilled in vehicle maintenance tasks such as wheel alignments, vehicle suspension system repair, and auto estimating procedures. Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar brands is preferred but not required. Capable of working with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive service tools efficiently. Join our team where your mechanical expertise fuels your passion for cars!
