Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as an Auto Mechanic and Front Counter Help! This energetic role combines hands-on vehicle repair expertise with exceptional customer service, ensuring our clients receive top-quality maintenance and repairs. You'll be at the forefront of diagnosing complex automotive issues, performing repairs across a variety of systems, and providing friendly, professional assistance at the front counter. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, alignments, electrical systems, and more. Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and suspension checks to keep vehicles running smoothly. Utilize schematics and automotive diagnostics tools to identify problems accurately and efficiently. Conduct repairs on diesel engines, air brake systems, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and powertrain components. Use hand tools and power tools skillfully to complete repairs with precision and safety. Assist customers at the front counter by explaining repair needs, providing estimates, and scheduling service appointments. Maintain detailed service records and ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Qualifications Proven dealership or automotive repair shop experience with a strong mechanical background. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, Schematics reading, and diagnostics tools. Experience working on GM vehicles or similar makes is preferred. Skilled in diesel engine repair, brake repair, wheel alignments, suspension work, shocks & struts replacement, and tire service. Familiarity with ADAS calibration, welding techniques, and auto body repair is a plus. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostic equipment confidently. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with a commitment to quality workmanship and safety standards.
