Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair, with the ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently. This role offers an opportunity to work with a dedicated team in a fast-paced environment, ensuring customer vehicles are maintained to the highest standards. Duties Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment Utilize an ohmmeter to test electrical circuits and ensure proper functionality Conduct vehicle inspections to identify potential problems before they become major issues Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications Assist in ordering parts and supplies needed for repairs and maintenance Qualifications Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as ohmmeters Strong understanding of vehicle systems including electrical, braking, suspension, and engine components Ability to read technical manuals and follow detailed repair procedures Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Prior experience working in an automotive repair shop or dealership is preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required This position is essential for maintaining the safety, reliability, and performance of our customers' vehicles. $30.00 - $36.00 per hour
