Job Description
Parish Barbecue is a new BBQ food trailer located in the backyard at Austin Beerworks Sprinkle Valley location in East Austin. This 70 acre property includes an 18 hole disc golf course, Concert Dome, live music and some of the best craft beer in Central Texas.
Parish Barbecue is Central Texas BBQ with Louisiana roots. Our vision is to honor the traditions of Central Texas BBQ by executing the classics at a high level, while infusing the flavors and dishes of our owner's native Louisiana. We are all about providing great food, personal and positive service to everyone, and being a part of the East Austin community. We are looking for the right person to join our small team in both prep and service. Enthusiasm, positivity, a collaborative spirit and above all, the ability to be adaptable to the challenges of running a new food trailer are a must. The availability to work a full 8 hour day of prep Monday-Wednesday is a prerequisite for this position, so you should have experience in a kitchen environment, serviceable knife skills, the ability to multitask, and take food safety extremely seriously. We are a small team, so we need someone who has the personality and comfort level to work 2 days a week in a customer facing role in our trailer as well. This will be working sides, register and cutting service. We are hoping to find someone who is looking to grow with us and is excited for the challenge.
