Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as an Automotive Service Advisor, where your enthusiasm and mechanical knowledge will drive exceptional customer experiences. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients seeking vehicle maintenance and repairs, ensuring clear communication and accurate service recommendations. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assess their vehicle service needs with enthusiasm and professionalism Explain repair and maintenance procedures clearly, ensuring customers understand their options and costs Prepare detailed estimates using estimating software, including parts, labor, and additional services Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, and transmission diagnostics to maximize customer value Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services Maintain accurate service records and write detailed service reports for each vehicle Communicate effectively with clients regarding vehicle status updates, repair progress, and post-service recommendations Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately while maintaining excellent client communication throughout the process Leverage automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues related to engines, transmissions, air brakes, shocks & struts, diesel engines, collision repair needs, and other mechanical systems Promote dealership services proactively to enhance customer satisfaction and foster repeat business Experience Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar auto service management role within a dealership or independent repair shop Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance procedures Familiarity with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools is highly desirable Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and confidently Previous experience in auto body repair or collision repair environments is a plus Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for client communication duties involving vehicle test drives or inspections Dealership experience is preferred but not mandatory; a passion for automotive repair and sales is essential Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering top-tier automotive care!
