Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Automotive Technician to join our service team. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of vehicles, ensuring top-quality service for our customers. Your expertise will help keep our customers' vehicles safe, reliable, and performing at their best. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on powertrain components, transmissions, diesel engines, and other mechanical systems with precision and efficiency. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machines to complete repairs and maintenance tasks. Service vehicles according to manufacturer specifications, including routine maintenance, brake work, steering, suspension, and wheel alignments. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical systems and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and quality control procedures while maintaining detailed service records. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and recommending additional services when appropriate. Experience Proven dealership experience as a Service Technician or Automotive Mechanic with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar brands is preferred but not required. Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, wheel alignment, and diesel engine repair is highly desirable. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics interpretation, and auto estimating processes. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software. Service technician experience in vehicle maintenance across various models including transmissions and powertrain components.
