2030 N. INDIANA, Brownsville, TX 78526 Job Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic specializing in Tractor/Trailers to join our team in Brownsville, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty trucks to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and inspections on 18 wheeler trucks. Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using appropriate tools and equipment. Repair or replace defective parts including engines, brakes, transmissions, and other components. Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems. Follow all company policies and safety regulations. Qualifications Proven experience as a Mechanic for 18 wheeler trucks or heavy-duty vehicles. Strong knowledge of diesel engines, brake systems, transmissions, and electrical systems. Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license; CDL preferred. High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus.
