The Express Technician supports the service department by performing routine vehicle maintenance and light repair services efficiently, safely, and professionally. This role contributes to a positive customer experience by helping ensure timely service completion, maintaining quality workmanship, and supporting a collaborative and customer-focused dealership environment. Job Description:
Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, battery testing, filter replacements, and multi-point inspections. Complete assigned services accurately and efficiently in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and dealership standards. Inspect vehicles for additional maintenance or repair needs and communicate findings appropriately. Assist with basic repair and maintenance services as assigned by dealership leadership. Conduct quality checks to help ensure services are completed properly and safely. Operational Excellence Maintain productivity and efficiency standards established by dealership leadership. Accurately document completed work and inspection findings on repair orders. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, tools, and service areas. Follow all dealership, manufacturer, and safety procedures. Properly handle customer and dealership vehicles throughout the service process. Team Support & Development Collaborate effectively with Service Advisors, technicians, and leadership to support operational success and customer satisfaction. Participate in training and development opportunities to expand technical knowledge and skills. Support a positive, team-oriented service department culture. Assist with additional operational tasks as assigned. Professional Standards Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong attendance record. Support dealership standards related to professionalism, safety, compliance, and customer care. Handle customer interactions professionally when needed within the service environment.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous automotive maintenance, technical training, or related experience preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
