Mechanic

Job Overview Capital Excavation is seeking a skilled Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain our fleet of heavy equipment and vehicles. This role requires hands-on expertise with diesel engines, hydraulics, and automotive systems to ensure safety and optimal performance in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair heavy equipment (excavators, cranes, loaders) and vehicles. Service hydraulic, electrical, HVAC, and braking systems. Perform welding, fabrication, and component replacement. Maintain accurate repair records and adhere to strict safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience as a heavy equipment or diesel mechanic. Strong knowledge of hydraulic schematics and electrical systems. Ability to use power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic tools. Physical ability to lift heavy parts and work in varied conditions
