This role serves as the foundation for a technician career path and provides hands-on training while supporting shop efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform basic maintenance services, including: Oil and filter changes Tire rotations and tire pressure checks Fluid inspections and top-offs Battery testing and replacement Basic vehicle inspections Assist B- and A-Level Technicians with vehicle preparation and shop support tasks. Conduct multi-point inspections and report findings accurately. Learn proper use of tools, equipment, and service manuals. Follow safety guidelines and dealership procedures at all times. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Participate in training programs and skill development. Document completed work accurately in dealership systems. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements Our Ideal Candidate Will Possess:
Entry-level position; prior automotive experience helpful but not required. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record. High school diploma or equivalent (or currently pursuing). Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and safety awareness. Ability to communicate effectively in English; bilingual English/Spanish preferred
WORKING CONDITIONS
This position is performed in an automotive service environment with frequent standing, lifting, bending, and exposure to shop noise, heat, and vehicle movement. Training and supervision are provided to support skill development and safe work practices.
