Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will perform comprehensive vehicle repairs and maintenance to ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability. Your expertise will help keep our customers' vehicles running smoothly and efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of vehicle makes and models, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and mechanical skills to solve complex automotive issues. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using automotive diagnostics tools. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, suspension system repairs, and wheel alignments. Repair and replace mechanical systems including transmissions, powertrains, diesel engines, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brakes, shocks & struts, and automotive electrical systems. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to accurately troubleshoot and repair vehicle systems. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools efficiently to complete repairs. Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair findings clearly with customers regarding necessary repairs and estimates. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Skills Proven dealership experience or extensive background working in automotive repair shops. Strong knowledge of automotive suspension systems, ADAS technology, transmissions, diesel engine repair, brake systems, and powertrain components. Ability to read schematics accurately and apply mechanical knowledge effectively during diagnostics and repairs. Proficiency with automotive electrical systems and the use of diagnostic software for troubleshooting complex issues. Experience working with heavy equipment mechanics or in the automotive service industry is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools safely and efficiently. Pay:
$13.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
