Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our fast-paced automotive service team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repair services. Your enthusiasm and expertise will ensure a seamless experience for clients, guiding them through service options, estimating repairs, and coordinating with technicians to deliver top-quality automotive care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine your automotive knowledge with exceptional customer service skills, helping drivers keep their vehicles in peak condition while fostering long-term relationships. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, listen attentively to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs. Provide clear explanations of required services, including oil changes, brake repairs, suspension work, tire services, and transmission repairs. Utilize estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools to prepare detailed repair estimates. Upsell additional services or maintenance based on vehicle diagnostics and customer needs to maximize dealership revenue. Coordinate with service technicians to prioritize repairs, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of work. Communicate effectively with clients regarding repair status, costs, and recommended future maintenance to foster trust and satisfaction. Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately while maintaining proper documentation. Skills Proven experience in auto service management or as a service technician with a solid understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures. Strong mechanical knowledge across various systems including transmissions, brakes, shocks & struts, air brakes, suspension components, and tire services. Familiarity with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools for accurate service writing. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly and professionally. Demonstrated ability to upsell services ethically while maintaining high customer satisfaction levels. Experience in dealership environments or collision repair facilities is highly desirable. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to drive company vehicles as needed. Pay:
$38,260.00 - $74,700.00 per year
