In this energetic role, you will perform essential maintenance services, including oil changes, fluid replacements, tire services, and minor mechanical repairs. Responsibilities Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, fluid replacements, tire rotations, and basic inspections to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Conduct minor mechanical repairs including brake inspections, belt replacements, and other standard passenger car services. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete maintenance tasks accurately. Assist with wheel alignments and tire services to improve vehicle handling and safety. Diagnose basic automotive issues using diagnostic tools and communicate findings clearly to customers or supervisors. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance when appropriate. Qualifications Previous dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred. Mechanic experience with a solid understanding of automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems. Knowledge of standard passenger car operation, maintenance procedures, and automotive fluid replacement. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during tire service or parts replacement. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent attention to detail. Effective communication skills to explain technical information clearly to customers. A proactive attitude with a passion for vehicle maintenance and customer satisfaction.
