We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Trailer Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair, particularly with trailers. This role requires proficiency in working with various mechanical systems and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. The Trailer Mechanic will be responsible for ensuring that all trailers are maintained to the highest standards of safety and performance. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trailers, including air brake systems and other essential components. Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions to ensure optimal trailer performance. Assemble, fabricate, and maintain various trailer parts and systems as needed. Conduct inspections of trailers to identify potential problems before they become serious issues. Utilize industrial equipment safely while performing heavy lifting tasks associated with trailer repairs. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks and repairs. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Qualifications Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with a focus on trailers or similar vehicles. Strong knowledge of air brake systems, farm machinery, and industrial equipment is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with mechanical repairs. Proficiency in soldering, assembling, and fabricating parts as required for trailer maintenance. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver's license may be required based on job responsibilities.
